Finally, fall is here! Now that the temperature is dropping, we can return to enjoying warm soups, stews and roasts. For those of you with slow cookers, bring them out if they’ve been feeling neglected the last couple months. If you don’t own one, buy one. They will make preparing meals so easy, a caveman can do it.
Reasons I love the Slow Cooker
Here are a few of my personal favorite recipes that I frequently use (click title of recipe for link):
Breakfast oatmeal - Add protein powder in the morning before eating.
Tortilla Soup - To make this even easier to prepare, I use a rotisserie chicken.
Beef Stew - What's not to love about beef stew?
Shredded Chicken - I usually eat with tortillas as shredded chicken tacos.

Spaghetti Squash - Serve with meat sauce. I use jars of TJ's Tomato & Basil marinara sauce combined with cooked ground beef and onion.
